These wide-angle side mirrors have a huge impact on visibility, specifically with blind spots. You can see so much more of the traffic to your sides and even to the next lanes over! My 2020 Civic EX didn't come with turn signals in the mirror housings but I managed to install the Suma mirrors with turn signals with a little bit of rewiring. Overall I feel way safer with my turn signals on the mirror and the fact that I can see more!

I gave it a 4star because my passenger side (Left Mirror) had a cracked on it. I just notice it when i put the mirror in. Kind of disappointed . Paid so much for it. I was gonna ask for a replacement but i’m pretty sure they won’t do it. I hope you guys will get yours in a good condition.

Thanks for the amazing Mirrors Suma! Easily one of my favorite mods. Perfect fit and finish. You can see directly behind you, the lane next to you, and the lane next to it. Installed on my 21 Civic Type R. Completely eliminated the blind spot the 10th Gen hatch has, and no more truck headlight glare. Only problem I has was due to the car, not the mirrors, and was a simple fix. There is a metal ring in the mirror adjustment mechanism that can come off when the mirrors are removed. It's behind the rubber grommets the white piece inserts through. Putting them back on fixed it.

Before you buy:
1) Expect some break-in time where you have to adjust to interpreting what you see. I used to be able to immediately know that if I see a car in my mirrors, I can't turn, but now that you see so much, I have to find a way to differentiate between cars that are blocking me from merging and those that aren't.
2) The adhesive on the back of the suma mirror makes it so that you can't take back off the plastic piece if you somehow break it when you reinstall the mirror onto the car. I bent one of the clips for the center ball bearing and now my mirror motor can't adjust the mirror angle anymore. Unsure how to get this fixed without spending an exorbitant a mount on replacement parts (would have to get a new suma mirror, and new OEM plastic piece) so that is the risk you run when choosing this over the stick-on mirrors.

Mirrors are great! Much better visibility and major reduction in glare at night. Install was less than 15 minutes for both mirrors. Only thing I’d change is adding the white adjustment part to the mirrors directly from Suma instead of having to transfer them from the stock mirrors to these.

Good quality and feels safer than stock., but not as responsive when making adjustments using the controls on the door. Installation was also tricky on account that the white plugs didn't want to go back in on the passenger side mirror, but that's not a defect in the SUMA mirror – more with the car.

So if you have a Civic that doesn't have the turn signals in the mirror (so pretty much a Type R) the turn signals will pretty much not work, along with the defrost mirrors. If you still want to make them work your going to have to buy a lot of extra wire because you're going to have to find a way to get power and ground from inside the car. And yeah no where on the product description does it tell you that it's recommended to already have these features on the car.
On a positive note the mirrors do have a wide angle so they're not lying there.

Really good almost entirely eliminates blind spots(i still look back on instinct but you really dont have to) i mainly bought it for the blue tint to eliminate glare which u cant really see in the photo because the guy behind me has super bright lights but im able to stare at them directly and not be completely blinded. Really good quality as well and easy to replace with stock mirrors the backing plate is identical

Installed it on my 2020 Honda Civic hatchback and it was pretty straightforward. The blue tint definitely helps to reduce glare. Price was a little high for what you get, but it almost removes the blindspots when I'm changing lanes or driving in the freeway.

I think I buy too much from Suma Performance :) but with great quality and support comes repeat customers. The mirrors take some getting used to, but it’s an incredible difference. Already have side markers, so I wired the positive through the front fender and grounded to a nearby bolt on each side. Overall, it’s an easy install, but do your research first. The signals are my favorite part. I turn around a look at them every time I lock the car.

Love these mirrors! Watch the video on how to install, watch it again. Get pry tools and paper towels. Watch out for the little ring that you see in my picture popping off. 20 minutes tops install. Enjoy.
My only gripe is that the driver's side may just be a tad too wide angled. Makes seeing details (like law enforcement officers) difficult at a distance.

After 1 day, I will not go back to stock. The wider angle and blue tint will take some getting used to but it's real value for me is the anti glare. I am a bit sensitive to lights at night, and when a truck/ SUV is behind me in the lane to my left 7-8 o'clock position I would often have to point the drivers side mirror down it was so annoying. These completely got rid of the problem for me, that alone made them worth it.

Pleasant Surprise
I wanted these side mirrors for a 2018 Honda Civic Type R more for the heated elements than the wide angle. With two motorcycles in the garage, there is only room for one car and that is my wife's.
I received them as a Christmas present in 2019 and finally installed them 9 months later. The wiring for the heated elements was a royal pain in the ass to run. I probably had 12 hours into the labor and had to purchase wiring diagrams from Honda, connectors, a relay, etc. Honda did not make it easy. However now when I turn on my rear defroster, the heating elements on the mirrors turn on. This should have been a factory option.
What I did not expect was how much I would love the wide angle view. You have a much better view of the cars on either side of you. It was definitively worth it. I really noticed the difference when getting on the highway with a curved entrance.
Without having to run the wires for the heating elements, the install would have taken about 5 minutes.

I really like my 10th gen Civic coupe but I absolutely hate the blind spot created by my car's driver's side b-pillar. While I'm a big fan of turning my head in confirmation before a lane change, the geometry is such that the b-pillar can actually manage to hide a whole car from me, forcing me to lean forward and damn near hang my head out the window if I want to be sure. Meanwhile, using stick-on mini-mirrors created a focal depth issue, leaving them useless for a quick glance. I found other solutions, but this one is the only OEM replacement that's convex, anti-glare, anti-fog, AND retains full compatibility with my car's mirror heater - OUTSTANDING! Sold. One fast shipping later, and I'll admit - the first drive took me a few minutes to get used to the convex reflection. That said, by the end of the drive not only did I eliminate both blindspots, I now have an extra 2 lanes of view on each side of me, which gives me all the confidence I need on the road. Not kidding, totally elevated my driving experience. Highly recommended.

Mirrors arrived intact due to the excellent packaging. Install was straightforward, everything was perfectly sized to OEM specs. These mirrors are much lighter than factory, but feel sturdier. The main reason I bought these was for the curvature, since I wanted something that would eliminate blind spots without looking tacky. The hydrophilic glare-reducing coating is a nice touch. You really get what you pay for these.

I installed the Suma replacement mirrors with defroster and turn signal in my 2017 Civic Sport Touring Hatchback. Hardest part of the install was getting the cap off of the mirror housing to access the electrical connections from the existing turn signal in the original mirror housing. A quick response from Eddy at Suma provided help in identifying the correct polarity (although it is listed on the wiring packet provided by Suma). The mirrors are great in providing additional coverage of the hidden spots on both the left and right sides. The actual images are a bit smaller but are easy to get used to. I spent the extra few dollars for the turn signals to provide more visibility to other drivers and I like how they look.

I purchased these mirrors after hearing about them on CivicX. I had seen that most of the people ended up buying the ones without the turn signals and the heated mirrors since the Type R did not come with those functions. However, on my Type R I wired them up into the left and right turn signal circuits and also the rear window defroster. So far so good and it's been a week. Two things that I had to get used to. One being the turn signal which at first was distracting but now is no issue and I feel that people in my blind spot can see me so much better merging. I also had to get used to the wide-angle mirror effect which took me a few drives but now I'm doing very well. One of the things I try to focus on is the inside of the mirror closest to the car which is less angled. this seems to look more normal.
Then, when I need to see my blind spot, I look to the outside of the mirror. The field of vision has helped tremendously. I like these mirrors so much I might even be considering buying the rearview mirror when it comes to market. Eddie from Suma has been great with communication since I purchased. Arrived quickly. Well packaged. Install was easy. Just take your time and use painters tape to mask surfaces and a plastic removal tool to get the stock mirror off. Looks great on my 2015 wrx (DGM color). Field of view is improved and the blue is a nice hue, actually objects look somehow sharper to me compared to stock. I am very pleased with the purchase and would recommend. My brother purchased a set for his Tesla Model 3
